This year, Syracuse’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade actually takes place on Saturday, March 17. The procession of dancers, bands, pipers, floats, dogs and others begins at noon, where marchers convene at Clinton Square’s intersection with South Salina Street and disperse once they pass the judges near the intersection with West Onondaga Street. The parade ends at about 3 p.m. (More information can be found at syracuseparade.org. ) Numerous other St. Patrick’s Day-themed events take place in CNY throughout March.
